First time rapelling at Memorial Circle
Quezon City, Philippines, 17th September 2006 - Officemate JV Mombay and wife Jeanne kindly invited me along on one of
their sessions. Their friend Jan Mike also gave valuable tips on what
NOT to do....
Well, I had marks on my stomach when I tried the australian style of going down, but otherwise the hard part is only the first step...after that, you just hanker for taller structures to rappel from...course I also imagined I was beside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible...
About this rapeling at Memorial Circle, ito ba yung monumentong may rotonda na malapit sa UP? How are you able to rapel down the monument, parang desecration yun di ba?

ReplyDeleteI was a behaved high school and college student. No booze. No grass. No frat. No gambling. Boring ha.

ReplyDeleteunfortunately, they didn't allow us amateurs to do so on the monument itself..(^_~)
just some good old-fashioned wood structures were the challenge of the day
