One more day in Seoul. Sometimes taking a week-long whirlwind vacation makes me realize I need another vacation after it to recover from a sightseeing trip. :)
That's more or less what we always said after spending one week in Tokyo on R&R from the Korean war, except that we said "Now lets back to the war to recover." LOL Have a nice day Cat. Hugs, John.
As what happens if it is your first time to see the sights but next time when go back you could take a real vacation and take it in slowly. The first time, you want to cramp all the sights in one week.
You should see the movie, "Around the World in 80-Days." Here's the (fictional) schedule:
The proposed schedule
London to Suez-----------------------------rail and steamer--7 days Suez to Bombay----------------------------steamer------------13 days Bombay to Calcutta------------------------rail-------------------3 days Calcutta to Hong Kong--------------------steamer------------13 days Hong Kong to Yokohama-----------------steamer------------6 days Yokohama to San Francisco------------ steamer------------22 days San Francisco to New York City-------- rail-------------------7 days New York to London ---------------------- steamer and rail---9 days Total----------------------------------------------------------------80 days
too true Sir Ver! after my last 2 trips to Japan, am thinking I must be crazy contemplating going back there again in the future for Tokyo to Northern Japan trip considering that my ~15 days there I had ran around at least 13 cities in that time...but here I am wishing I could do that this year...
siguro stubborn lang ako..maski 2nd time na sometimes para pa rin akong energizer bunny..hahaha...I should really take this lesson in and enjoy it more the next time...
however naman siguro kc, since the trips I most enjoyed with are those I took by myself followed by those in a very small group...so parang may "slow" part din kc it was at a pace I liked..unlike in bigger groups, you would have to adjust to other people's wants...
hmm...dapat yata 1 month to...sabagay e sanay naman kayo sa ganitong pace...hahaha..no time to get sick (if relaxed ka e parang your body takes the time to protest)
depends how you plan your itinerary, a week will drain you, even if it's a 'vacation.'
