I've been asking one of them if pwede ba isama Macau :-) even if its just for photo op not casino action (wala nang maiwan na pera for tossing into the fray kc)...
kaya heto..if walang sasama sa akin don, i-research ko na lang pano and I hope to get there myself.
simple lang naman ang aking plano for HK - buy a gadget, take pics, eat.
or if you do have transfers, bring your passports, though they usually don't ask, go to MTR station(subway) & ask for tourist pass. if i remember they have unlimited day, 2day or 3 day tickets..the card once consumed is yours as souvenir.. the Airport Express card you get a refund when you return the card...same principle of using an Octopus caard, difference is the Octopus card can be reloaded at any station or even any 7/11 store!
btw you can check in your bags at the Airport Express station in HK & get your boarding passes there if you will take the train.
sayang octopus cat. you will not stay for long naman. cheaper to pay per trip kasi di ka naman ata maglalagalag ng husto given the days you are staying there. going to macau, requires a visa. so better get it or ask a travel agent to do it for you.
when i was in the kowloon side, parang mas madaming camera shops akong nakita, along nathan road.
as a group we don't see each other that often so hanggang emails and chat lang even if we are in the same company...nag debate pa if pupunta or hindi...
I just heard tonight from an acquaintance that if we do go for the show, we might have to stay overnight in Macau...huhuhu
no idea on the hotel...since we are a group esp w/ one or two who travel there more often than I do, so I don't need to research much on it...
Nathan Road what I recall in my last visit there is more on tourist eh...sabagay its true maraming shops...but I was hoping for like one building of camera shops para mas ma compara...hehe...
depends what you want to do. sarap sa HK!
ReplyDeleteshopping lang talaga?
ReplyDeletehay, gusto ko sana food trip, pero mga kasama ko yata more on shopping..hehe
ReplyDeletenah, if I go there, its food, pictures, gadgets...
ReplyDeletesan ba na lugar ang best for shopping cameras....

ReplyDeleteI posted about my trips sa Calendar as soon as I got the ticket :-)
ReplyDeleteFebruary 16 ang alis namin sa gabi....balik kami Sunday umaga..may work kasi mga kasama ko...

I am not a Hong Kong habitue. I'd probably get lost there.
ReplyDeleteMacau will meet all that. Casino buffet is a gustatory experience. There's fine dining in the casinos too if that's what you prefer.
ReplyDeleteimpractical to use/buy an Octopus card unless you are a resident or frequent visitor...if you don't have airport transfers to your hotel, you can go online.
