Happy cat :-) Unexpectedly found rose syrup for my favorite rose bandung. In Cebu of all places! (I'm too lazy to go to Indian grocery stores in Manila). Promptly made rose bandung and rose water summer quencher even if its bed weather the whole day *grin*
1:4 for rose syrup to chilled milk or water...but for the rose bandung drink, add ice cubes to thin it out a bit, unless you like it a bit sweet...
ReplyDeleterose water is great for summer..I can't help but revel in its fragrance though...
hmm...maybe if they didn't put some sweeter in it, I'd have placed it behind my ears...hahaha
not familiar with this
ReplyDeleteIts one of the drinks offered sa mga Singapore food stalls along with chili crabs, Indian and Malaysian food po :)
ReplyDeleteTry checking out the drinks menu sa next time nyo po na food trip sa Singapore....
i stick to diet coke...so i skip drinks menu...its great to have a big burp after a soda :)
ReplyDeleteit frees up more space :)
I see. Ako naman i hardly drink any softdrinks except RTO sometimes with milk :)
ReplyDeleteMe neither. Ngayon ko lang narinig ito.
ReplyDeleteI drink the real thing. No diet Coke for me. It's got to be Coke Classic. Funny when I go to fast food places, I see people ordering diet drinks but eat Big Macs and Whoppers with tons of fries laden with sodium.
ReplyDeletefrom wiki:
ReplyDeleteBandung, sirap bandung, or air bandung is the name of a drink popular in Malaysia and Singapore.
It consists of milk flavoured with rose cordial syrup, giving a pink colour. The drink is an adaptation of rose milk served in India.
A photo I picked up in the internet because I can't remember where I placed or posted mine:
