yes but after an episode you'd wish it never ends till the very last episode...i look for a dvd & watch as much as i can & continue the next day...besides what they show on cable has been censored...wheter for sex or gory scenes.
personally, thats what I do for anime - buy the whole series coz I hate waiting for the next episode...inevitably I go into marathons when watching anime...but these days, content na rin ako for those on tv because its on as I do my work, might as well multi-task :-)
aiya! I remember....one time in the dorm, a roomie had a disc for Sex and the City eps...I was surprised about one episode which I had seen on tv versus the one I saw on the disc...didn't expect this series to be a bit raunchier than what I saw on HBO
Parang feeling ko the book would be better than the tv adaptation of the Game of Thrones series...
re True Blood - I love the books of Sookie Stackhouse mysteries....when I look at what they have written and come up for the tv..its just so many characters and drama, nawala na ang whodunit for these books...a pity as Charlaine Harris writing is so humorous...
I've read Pillars of the Earth but I don't have the paid cable to watch it. It must be nice. And the books where the movie True Blood was based on. Buti ka pa.
Tita Lou, baka pwede mo ma download sa internet or watch it streaming po.
I've devoured the Southern Vampire mysteries...hehe..may pdfs na free din yata sa internet, pero I bought all of them na beforehand. Charlaine Harris' other works were also funny (its not obvious-funny but sometimes the way she couches words makes me giggle to myself - yeah, like Sisa..hahaha)

ReplyDeleteI liked Pillars of the Earth. I find Game of Thrones boring. And True Blood...well...I'm not really into blood-suckers. Just my opinion. :-)
ReplyDeleteits been some time since I last bought a dvd..

They probably censored the title, too. As in "Toooot" in the City :-)
