I'm thrifty...and I laughed my ass off seeing the lengths to which the book-keeper samurai hero of "Abacus and Sword" went to. While I like stories set in important political and historical eras...but doesn't wallow in it...the drama (its not wholly a comedy film) of depicting how a single family deals with the changes and decline of the age of the samurai in Japan made me really happy with my Sunday movie marathon. Hmm...who thought a film on a bookkeeper could have made my night!
