With now more than 4 decades under my belt, I'm trying to gauge my true age by analyzing how I react to things I am afraid to do....

  4. Fearless Cat, is there anything you are afraid of?!

  5. You look a decade short, cat.

  6. Speaking of decades, can you remember what or where you were on a decade-per-decade basis, i.e. when you were 10, 20, 30 yrs old? Maybe you can write it down (you need not share it with others). Could be a good record of sorts of your life. Something to look back to when you're in your 80s or even 90s...

  7. yes...am terrified of ginormous spiders! even if they be harmless, anything above 2-inches ones are enough to make me run for the hills...

  8. hmm...but they do say Asian women age slowly...

my problem is, what if all the "missing years" arrive in one swoop? hehehe!

  9. yup...before the time of Multiply and FB, my dad liked taking pictures....so I've all those pa in those albums..gusto ko nga i-scan lahat..I've started but takes time...picture-ran ko na lang kaya isa-isa

  10. spin-a-win...hihihi!

oh, di ba naabutan mo rin yon?

  11. That's one way. But it will not reflect things like, what you thought was true then, or your beliefs, or what you loved to read, or your favorite movie star, or your crushes, or your favorite kind of music, or your hobbies, things you used to do, etc., etc., etc.

  12. ah, may diary ako :-)

I only stopped after college...after that and when I was working it was more like a desk calendar I wrote on every day...

actually I still have a journal w/ blank pages, para if I feel like saying "am hungry, thinking of my mom and lola longingly" at anytime or day..isulat ko don..hehe

  13. Ok. Just one question then: Were you as "focused" on food then (when you were 10, 20 or 30 yrs old) as you are now?

  14. yes, I think so...one of my earliest embarassing memories was of my mom happily telling those who would care to listen how as a young 'un (read that as a baby) I used to demolish a big bowl of meatballs (she used to cook 1 kilo of bola-bola for me) and one big can of pork and beans along with rice...

oh and one of my more favored pictures by my dad and mom (naka-blow up ha...*huhu*) is of me standing by an opened ref and probably reaching for the "Tepsi" (di ko kc ma pronounce ang Pepsi...hehehe)...hmm..that pic was fun...I wish I had a copy of it...para akong lalaki with my boy cut..and chubby cheeks...I think mga 2 years old ako non and standing tall...(kung ikaw ba naman ay let loose sa cocina e ganon ang labas yata)

then most pics after of me seemed to be me and food somewhere near...
in fact my dad asked my mom pointblank over dinner one-time if I had been dewormed (in the dialect "'Ney, na-purga na ba ni si Inday?" ...calm as you please, while I was sitting across from them having my dinner.....grrrrrr!

  15. A decade short in looks exceeded 2 decades in experience, it seems.

  16. I was an angel when I was younger..never gave my parents any trouble :-)

of course at this point, I was opening my mouth to say my prayers and that the food would arrive...haha! golly, I actually remember when and how this picture was taken :-)

  17. "Meat-ball,
    meat-ball,
    more meatballs please!"
    Heavenly cute picture of you.

  18. HAHAHAHA... this is cute, Cat! Were you singing or were just waiting to be fed, hehehehe...(nakabukas kasi bibig mo)... Anymore photos like this? Post mo din :-)

  19. why the shortest of hair, Cat, when you were that young?

    ReplyDelete
  20. hehe..I think I had a surfeit of meatballs for the first ten years of my life..kaya now, I pay hardly pay 'em no mind ya know..

siguro food phases...there was a time I loved ribs...sarap mag-gnaw on 'em bones...

then a time I loved pumpkin soup (like having it almost every other day)..etc. etc.

oh well, at least payat pa na angel yan, thanks Mar!

  23. oh, because I used to be brought by my dad to his barbero when he had a haircut, I also had a haircut...at may sideburns pa!

besides, I don't like long hair...hassle, tapos I perspire very quickly kc...

you may be amused to hear that I actually had shoulder length hair when I was born, as my mom was telling me and she wasn't joking...

in fact may picture yata ako na parang takyan yung buhok ko...or...something like how they tie back the hair of a horse on top of its head...ganon ginawa nila sa akin...!!
