Earthquakes in NZ, China, Japan, Laoag etc. The next step is the tsunami. It has hit Japan already and aftershocks are ongoing...let's pray no tsunami reaches our Philippine islands...
It was really terrifying to see what was really happening during the earthquake and the tsunami. I pray for Japan and all its people especially for those who perished, who lost homes, those missing and those who were severely affected by this catastrophe. Hope there would be no further destruction of lives and property in Japan and in neighboring countries like the Philippines. May God bless us all.
I'm happy to report that so far, the relatives or friends of friends who happen to be in Japan are ok -
Che - her sister and bro-in-law was are good..and lucky nasa Miyazaki City...which almost sounds the same as the area affected..
Loo - and his sibling and family were there for vacation, ok na rin
Sir B - his sisters he said are ok (and I daresay their respective families), but at that time sabi nya not answering their phones...
Joy - at least nasa Nagasaki and didn't travel that day to the north
Mark - at least nasa Kyoto...takot yata earthquake sa kanya..hehehe..hope his friends and officemates are good also!
Ramil - a friend of Che I met in Nagoya in my last trip I had hoped was also ok (at least naman he doesn't travel afar from Nagoya)
and last but not the least who I can recall offhand... Ted, my online buddy in Japan confirmed in FB that after so many hours of waiting for his wife (w/out news pa yon), Kyoko-san finally made it home safe and sound..
thank you very much and thank you to the good Lord for all these good news I hear about these people I know...
Let's also pray for those who are hit in Tokyo and Sendai area of Japan and for those of us who have friends and acquaintances in Japan..
ReplyDelete.while Japan may be prepared for earthquakes, tsunamis and such are really something which we cannot stop...
Hawaii issues tsunami warning - Joey, I hope you and your family will be spared this....
ReplyDeleteif you have cable TV, try NHK..and they will ahve more updated videos while the aftershocks are going on...
