I saw the very cute Pentax Q! I was trolling for a good (hopefully more than 20 feet depth) waterproof cam and got tempted by currently the "world's smallest" interchangeable lens camera instead!
yes, its lighter than the first ipad, but if you hold it for long, uhm....still a bit heavy after a while... also it uses microSim, hence we can't use our old Sims unless we cut it..or copy it to a micro-Sim na iba (thereby deactivating your old usual sim)...
in contrast lighter yung isa sa Galaxy Tab models...but I wonder about the OS and free apps....grrr..eto na naman..masisiraan na naman ako mag isip and research...
ah Mommy Loy, can you please ask Tito Rudy when he has time to take a look at the Pentax Q? matagal na sa back burner ko ang interchangeable lens eh..but am not sure if I should let of my original decision of waiting for the Olympus micro 4/3 next model to come out..
thank you and have a great trip! (and lots of EBs)
Tha Blackberry Playbook is on sale here for $199. I'm not familiar with tablet computers but I'm tempted to buy because of the price. This is a drastic reduction in price but only for a limited time. The regular price is $500.
they will discontinue this model, w/c is why they brought the price down...but it's a fairly good tablet & an excellent price. downside is once phased out, you worry about technical support & the like.
Yes, the Panasonic Lumix GX1 is also a micro four thirds camera. Meron silang GF3, also a micro four thirds pero sabi nila it's not selling well because of its looks. Parang may hump where the lens is. The GX1 gets rid of the hump and the body is back to traditional design. And of course may dinagdag silang mga features. But would most amateur photographers ever get to use those features? I doubt it.
Nope, I didn't buy another cam...coz I was still trying to decide which was better the iPad2 or the Samsung Galaxy Tab...
ReplyDeleteI Pad!
ReplyDeletehehe..thanks for the unequivical vote Mommy Loy...this was my first choice, pero kc mabigat pa rin ang ipad2 eh..nakakangalay din pala...
ReplyDeleteOH? I thought it's small enough so magaan.

Good luck! If it has interchangeable lens go for it.

ReplyDeleteThe Blacberry Playbook is magaan and manipis.

ReplyDeletehands down, the iPad 2 is tablet of choice...but it all boils down to what feature you are looking for in a tablet pc.
ReplyDeletemabigat kc iPad2 e in contrast sa isa...huhuhu...if I use it when travelling to watch movie or read a book etc. di ko matagalan...hmm...
ReplyDeletewehehe..mas maliit kc ang Pentax Q kaysa non sa Lumix...
ReplyDelete...but honga, mas ok lens sa Lumix :-) argh...
nasa wish list ko pa rin micro 4/3 na cam
is the GX1 the newest for the micro four-thirds? di ba may GF3 or something (nahihilo na ako sa mga letters and numbers...)
am just banging my head re our HP Touchpad....don't ask please....grrrrrrr *rabid*
ReplyDeleteits the latest...am saving for this.
ReplyDeletemag gym ka & work on your biceps...kaya mo nang buhatin ang iPad.

ReplyDeleteme too! humaba na wish list...hehe and baka nga di na lang ako bibili ng tablet...concentrate on the GX1 which will come out ..December pa di ba...
ReplyDeleteparang may reklamo yata sa GF3 (or they weren't just satisfied with it), so it looks as if it might be fixed na in GX1 :-)
bwahaha! parang fragile na fragile and wrists ko pala...
ReplyDeletemaybe I should wait for iPad 3...wehehe...
yung Galaxy Tab P-1000 kc makes me think of scenes in sci-fi movies like Star Trek...parang very handy and not too heavy as the iPad...
I think even the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is still lighter than the iPad2...even if more or less same size yata...
kailan kaya na parang paper thin na...if they can do it for the MacBook Air...baka malapit na..
