My patient watching the shelves has paid off - since the severe Ondoy storm (Typhoon Ketsana, which submerged a huge area affected in Luzon part), the Mabuti Portuguese sardines had vanished off the shelves of Landmark grocery...and though I keep on checking every time I do my shopping, its only today I saw stacks of it again. But omigosh..its now Php 200+ per can with say 4 to 5 small Portuguese sardines..WAAAH!
who wants to give me Christmas gift?
ReplyDeleteI will appreciate a medium basket of these Mabuti Portuguese sardines...hehehe!
...sardines taste better when eaten during rainy days...
ReplyDeletehot pan de sal, sardines, sikwate or kape...at saka isang fried egg...pwede na pang-energy for morning!
ReplyDeletewhat?! P200 plus...oh my....
ReplyDeletePhp 204.75!
ReplyDeleteits indelibly edged in my mind since I bought some for my dad para bday gift..hahaha...he loves those sardines...
he was also shocked, saying maybe we should just frame them...LOL (gosh, and if you count per sardine in a can, parang Php50 ang isang sardine na 2.5 inches long)
it must be that good!
ReplyDeletebefore I used to think so...
ReplyDeletepero nowadays, nasa utak ko is "This Php50...its so delish!"
haha
