I've never tried patis with sardines though...my patis always goes with my bangus..

  11. Masarap yan sa breakfast, pero para sa dinner? Teka, bakit ba may pagkain na pangumaga pero hindi pang gabi?

  12. bread and pasta are the quickest and easiest for me to prepare...hence...lately all my meals seem to be "breakfast"-ty...

hmm....yeah....why is it like that...foods you associate with breakfast but not pang-gabi?

  13. hi Ted..

salabat would be what you call ginger tea..

basically tea is boiled in water....and the resulting concoction are usually drank during mornings here (good for throat)...

  17. i would rather have them than corned beef or spam for a dinner and salabat is a good choice for drinks..hala kain na tayo!! good to see you cath...kuya rom

    ReplyDelete
  18. ah..but slightly well-done corned beef is also a good choice with pan de sal Kuya Rom...

teka..may pan de sal ba dyan sa inyo?

    ReplyDelete

  20. eh? corned beef with elbow macaroni? hmm....

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ok yan basta may ginisang sibuyas, bawang at kamatis.

    ReplyDelete
  22. ano to? corned beef na soup? corned beef na salad?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Whatever. Basta may ginisang sibuyas, bawang at kamatis.

  24. corned beef, ginisang sibuyas, bawang, kamatis and elbow macaroni....o cge, try ko one of these nights...pero yung elbow macaroni di isasama sa prito, right?
I mean when its cooked na, I can add the also cooked elbow macaroni at the last...

    ReplyDelete
  25. this will be interesting....wonder what else i can add elbow macaroni to?

    leche flan with elbow macaroni?
    tortang talong with elbow macaroni?
    vegetable curry with elbow macaroni....

    ReplyDelete
  26. you need to cook elbow macaroni separately.boil them with water until they becomes slightly tender and set aside.. after ginisa sibuyas, kamatis , sibuyas, bawang at corned beef, mix the elbow macaroni and use the same broth for sabaw and add salt or aji-no-moto for your preference.

  27. corned beef na soup kaya lang wag hayaan madurog ng husto ang karne.

  28. cge Kuya Rom, thank you po..hehehe..ma try ko nga..may stock akong corned beef pero elbow macaroni is something I've never bought (would you believe?)

at saka kc sa bahay..usually medyo may pagka crispy (aka slightly burned) ang aming corned beef when its served...
or corned beef hash, yung may diced tomatoes...hay..

diosme..parang na-te-tempt ako magluto bigla ng corned beef....ehehe...
