Cat's Postcard from Picasso Pavilion

HAKONE, JAPAN, 4th November 2010 - In Hakone's Open Air Museum, more than 300 works by Picasso are gathered.

Here I am outside said building housing not only Pablo Picasso's works but also those of his daughter Maya.

Aside from that come-on, there are also portraits of Picasso taken by David Douglas Duncan for the last decade or so of Picasso's life.

I can't share any photos inside as indoor exhibits are usually no-photo zones...:-(

  8. 300 works in one museum alone; Picasso was so prolific.

I was expecting him to be having 1000 works!

but seriously, very very nice potteries, paintings, sculptures inside....my eyes really had a feast..and it was flitting about so quickly as if trying to record everything coz pictures weren't allowed...

  13. Unless, the building is round, it may look like Picasso's work.
