First day on my trip to Osaka, I had to leave my souvenir umbrella (from my trip to NY) at the airport's bin because I didn't know it was supposed to be checked-in *huhuhuhu*. I mean, its always been in my handcarried bag in my other trips. Then my monk bag handle got lost somewhere between when I was in plane and then walked to immigration. Second day, I left my 1/4 full green tea bottle, and then almost left my key in the basket in the public bath. Third day I left my door unlocked for 30 minutes. Lucky its Japan :-). But a small price to pay since the trip has gone according to schedule so far...

Ah, now I see....I was wondering what you meant by "leaving trip" on the other page. Better luck from now on that things go more smoothly.....although, that may get boring. (^_^) Just have a blast and stay safe!
ReplyDeletethanks Peachy Mommy...wish you were with me!
ReplyDeleteFor one mad second I was tempted to do what they asked and have it checked-in...hmm..e boarding na..
ReplyDeletetapos insist nila no other way...e pano? yung lahat ng luggage nalagay sa loob ng plane tanggalin para lang malagay yung umbrella ko..hehehe...tsk..tsk...
I read about LAGs not being allowed or may restrictions...pero di ko nabasa wherever they may have placed that sign that umrellas cannot be handcarried...e 3 fold na maliit na umbrella pa yon...e sa malakas na hangin baka yung ribs mabaligtad pa...hay naku...
i guess being less cautious happens when one travels...too many things in mind...we can't remember or take note of everything...we just have to be more careful...& pay attention to details....just don't forget your wallet & passport!
ReplyDeletemalapit na pong makwintas...hehehe
ReplyDeletethanks for the concern po :-)
Dapat talaga may "trip buddy" ka na.
ReplyDeletejanice almost left her umbrella too..but still had the time to check it in. ang mahal pa naman nung umbrella. sorry to hear you losing stuff...dapat kasi kasama ako eh!

ReplyDeletethis was around 20 USD na umbrella..but I treasured it because for all my trips since then it has always been w/ me...to china, to wherever...
hay naku, kakainis..
anyway, I hope they don't just throw the stuff away, malay baka magamit ng iba...
hehehe..or it might find its way to a millionaire (dunno the reason why, call it fate), who will return it to me (may address kc umbrella eh..email address..mwahaha!) and give me money too coz I had to give the umbrella away.
marami akong travel buddies...kaso nga lang, not always makakasama eh..
