Inspite of everything, I gave up on Takao-san, but not on meeting Virtual Ted. I've managed to see some sights in Asakusa already but here in Nakamise, its really dangerous to my wallet. In less than 10 minutes I already spent 2K JPY. argh...*staying away from street*

  2. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. Japan is an expense place and Nakamise can be super dangerous for the traveller's wallet.

  7. that was not fall, that was more like dragged by bag...hehehe...

hay, lesson learned, next time, bahala na bag..(easy to say)

ganito kc...I transferred some of the stuff to my backpack...so when I grabbed the other bag, and tilted, and w/ my backpack behind me...ayon..gravity...

  8. Excalators can be dangerous. the last time we were in San Francisco, Gwiz, pulled by her heavy luggage, fell back on an escalator, tumbled seveal flights, and gashed her leg badly. Bleeding, she went to the first aid station and was told to pay a handsome amount first before she was attended to. Saying she didn't have that kind of cash with her, she was pointed to a restroom by the clinic attendants so that she could just "wash her wounds herself".

  10. wala pa yatang luggage-friendly escalators :-)

my goodness, walang naka-block sa kanya on the escalator?

wth? anong klaseng first aid station yan? maghahanap pa ng pera...di ba dapat gamot muna tapos if medyo serious e di papuntahin sa hospital or something and c/o insurance...

    buti walang broken bones...

I think my coat and shoes saved me from gashes...buti yung ulo ko di na-gash sa steps come to think of it..

come to think of it, mas prone sana ako to wounds don sa escalator ...walang sign yon...

yung tripping sa luggage tuloy ang may evidence :-(

actually its dangerous here at the train stations esp at the central ones where everybody is rushing...w/ bags pa...sometimes you can walk and a person cuts across or passes by and you fly over their bags..
