I'm sad that they have closed Denboin Temple...and its gardens...I went around and around even w/ my little disability..only to find out...its now forbidden for people to get inside...
I don't know..hmm...the guidebook said they allowed people before as long as you make appointment...pero ngayon nada na talaga...grrrrr....nice pa naman ang garden dito daw eh...
a bit dizzying in Asakusa, especially from Kamarimon Gate to Sensoji-temple...
you know, I sort of thought about Jesus flinging the merchandise in front of the temple...imagine all the shops lining both sides of the street (and even sa gilid) leading towards Sensoji...
couple of times I ate, because there were so many people, we were told to just stay and eat in shop with our dango sticks, ice cream etc. or at front instead of walking around (baka mapoke pa sa mata ng stick ang dinaanan)
Sir B, this is Asakusa...its on the grounds near the Sensoji temple..
not a lot of people know maganda ang garden dito...may mga info about it..before, you could get in, as long as you ask permission, make appointment etc. pero ngayon, as in nada na talaga..and in fact, they put a sign na on the building near the 5-storey pagoda saying access denied..
I only saw the sign after I wandered off on another street and discovered this shrine devoted to a tanuki (?) of all things...and I could only peer thru the gate dividing the shrine and the temple (iron grilled gate kc)...from what I could peek at, maganda ang layout.....
Why forbidden?
ReplyDeleteThey probably saw Cat at the station and deemed her a hazard to their space.
